Mentorship Program

The MetroAir Mentorship Program was created to help new MetroAir pilots get a better sense of how MetroAir works. Mentors work with new pilots to pass along knowledge, tips and tricks and help to get new pilots integrated quickly and easily. All new pilots are encouraged to make use of their mentors to get the most satisfaction out of their career at MetroAir Virtual.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't my hub manager answer all of my questions? Every staff member, from hub manager to CEO, is willing and able to help all pilots. While hub managers and other staff want to answer your questions, we have seen that pilots are hesitant to come forth and communicate with their hub managers in the beginning. In addition, usually Hub Managers have between 30 to 80 pilots on their roster's at any given time. The roster size makes it difficult to give each pilot the individual attention they deserve.

Who is my mentor? When a new pilot is hired they will be assigned a mentor by the Mentorship Coordinator. This process is manual and may take a few days. If you already know a Mentor and wish to be assigned to them, please get in touch with the Mentorship Coordinator.
